About Us

The Edridge Fund is an independent Charity with close practical and historical links to Napo – The Trade Union, and Professional Association for Probation and Family Court staff.

The Edridge Fund is registered as a Charity with the Charity Commission – Registration No 803493

The Edridge Fund is managed by five Trustees; each one is elected for a period of five years by the National Executive of Napo. They present an annual report on the work of the Fund to at the Napo AGM, as well as reporting to the Charity Commission.

How the Fund works:

Each Napo Branch elects its own Edridge Representative and this Representative is usually the first point of contact for anyone wishing to use the Fund.

Representatives are also encouraged to offer personal support should this be welcomed by any applicant. This role is, therefore, of vital importance to the Branch and to the operation of the Fund.

The Edridge Representatives and Trustees treat every application in the strictest confidence. Applications are considered on receipt and decisions made on the basis of email discussion between the Trustees.
